Hello! My name is Tatiana Menshikova. I am originally from Omsk city, Russia but have lived in the United States since 2000. I graduated from the Omsk State Technological Institute in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Audit. First, I worked as a bank teller, then as a manager, opening business accounts for small and medium businesses in the famous in the 90-x Stolichny Bank of Savings. Then, after I moved in the United States, I also worked in the First Citizens Bank in Jax, FL as a vault teller. After long years of studying and moving to different states I graduated from the Gemological Institute of America as a Graduate Gemologist. I worked in the diamond district in NY (cross section of the 5^th Ave and 47^th St. near Rockfeller Center) at the Gemological Science International Lab as a diamond grader. We wanted to move out of NY and started to look for the place to live. We found Louisa, VA as a lovely place, despite the fact, that we probable were first immigrants moving to the area in 2013. I worked a few seasons in Liberty Tax with Mary. But it was only a part time job. I applied for a work in the postal service. Eventually, 3 years I was a mail carrier and 3 year after I worked as a clerk in Kents Store Post Office. After that I decided to finally pursue my original education carrier as an accountant and tax preparer. I learned how to file taxes for individuals and businesses at the National Tax Training School, passed 3 part comprehensive exam with the IRS and deservedly received an Enrolled Agent designation. I started my alterations business at the end of 2019 and later added a second specialty: bookkeeping for small businesses and tax return preparations, for which more information can be found on their two separate pages.
